What you're buying
Each payment buys one AI-generated video at the length and quality you choose, made from your description and any files you upload. Videos are made by an AI model provided by BytePlus (part of ByteDance). Results vary, and the AI may not do exactly what you describe.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older.
What you can't make
You agree not to use Stupid Tool to create, or attempt to create:
- anything illegal, or anything that promotes violence, hatred, harassment or self-harm;
- sexual or explicit content, or any content involving minors in a harmful way;
- the likeness or voice of a real person without their permission, or content meant to deceive people into thinking it is real;
- political campaign or election content;
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
You also agree not to try to get around the AI's safety filters. Your use must follow the BytePlus GenAI Acceptable Use Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, which form part of these terms.
We may cancel an order without a refund and block your email if you repeatedly or seriously break these rules.
Your uploads
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, every image, video and audio file you upload, and that using them here doesn't infringe anyone's rights. Photos of real people aren't supported.
Your video
You can use the video you receive, subject to these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for how you use it. Videos may contain hidden data marking them as AI-generated. You must not remove or hide it, or any watermark or label showing the content is AI-made.
Payment and refunds
- You pay once per video. There are no credits or subscriptions.
- If the AI's safety filter blocks your request, you can edit it and try again at no cost, up to 3 times. After the third block, your order is refunded automatically.
- If we can't make your video for a technical reason, or your paid order isn't completed within 48 hours, you're refunded automatically.
- If your video is made but you don't like the result, it isn't refunded. That's the one video you paid for.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with and can take several days to appear.
How long we keep things
Your video stays available to download for 3 days, then it's deleted. Download it to keep it.
Privacy
We collect your name, email, description, uploaded files and order details to make and deliver your video. Your description and files are sent to BytePlus to generate the video. Uploaded files are stored with Cloudinary, finished videos with Cloudflare, order records with Google, and payments are processed by Ziina. We don't see or store your card details. We use your email only for your orders and, if you ask, to tell you when the service is back online. To ask about or delete your data, email kattan@kattan.design.
No guarantees
Stupid Tool is provided as it is. We don't guarantee it will always be available or that results will meet your expectations. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai. Questions: kattan@kattan.design.
